Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
What can you do about mice and rats?
Mice and rats can be a huge concern, especially in urban areas. We recommend that the primary treatments used are baits. Rodent pests are drawn to food, heat and shelter which means that the population will often grow quite quickly, once food is sourced. It’s always best to keep food securely locked away and all areas of the house clean.
Spiders are a concern in our area?
Spiders can be highly dangerous, especially in Australia. We can get rid of the immediate threats of spiders, however they are often a seasonal issue. To keep your property free of spiders, you might need to set up a periodic treatment during the mating seasons, if your house or area has seen issues with spiders before.
Do I need to prep the house before pest control?
Yes, vacuum and mop prior to treatment, place all belongings away from edges of rooms. Have access to man holes and subfloor for technicians
Do I need to remove anything from my cupboards or move any furniture?
No, there is no need to remove any items from within your cupboards during standard treatments. This may be required with German cockroaches, pantry pest or fabric pest treatments. There is usually no need to move or re-arrange any furniture.
How often should I have a service done?
We recommend having a General Pest Service annually or bi-annually. However, depending on the type of pest infestation a more frequent service period may be recommended to ensure your home is safe and protected.
